I am very sad today. Singhe is my little pet puppy. He lives no more and that shatters my heart. Though I am not a pet lover or a dog lover in particular, but I adopted Singhe as he was in very bad condition and my heart wouldn’t let me ignore him. I found him among many other new born puppies lying by an exhausted mother. I noticed that Singhe was the weakest and the mother dog was not tending to him while she was nursing all the others. She would even bite them when he approaches her. I was very confused in the beginning but then I came to know from others that he was not her puppy. He was very weak and he would noticeably stand out from other puppies because of his weak body. I instantly connected with him as compassionate side of me triggered. So, I took him home and nurtured him with utmost love and care. But i didn’t see any progress in his health. So, I took him to a Vet. Later, I came to know that he had sore in his mouth and worms in his stomach and other complications too. He was put under observation for two days at a hospital but eventually died. I cried uncontrollably. It was so unfair for a puppy to go through so many pains. I love you singhe. you will be always in my heart.
